Team

One principal. Specialists on demand.

You hire Ryan. Engagements are scoped tight — when an assignment needs a specialist (IT, labs, pharmacy, clinical, legal), we pull from a vetted bench instead of selling you an army you don't need.

Principal

Ryan Stengle

Founder, Mad Sherpa Consulting

Growth leader with 18+ years scaling regulated-market platforms — from early-stage market entry to multi-billion-dollar asset growth — across behavioral healthcare, health tech, and financial services.

The combination is the unfair advantage: a Wall Street capital-markets brain (T. Rowe Price, WisdomTree, Arrow, Thrivent — UCITS structuring, cross-border ETF expansion, $650M → $1.2B in distribution) applied to the operational problems that actually move enterprise value inside a SUD program.

On the clinical side: scaled SUD operations from 40 → 150 beds, drove a 36-bed detox unit from 50% → 85% occupancy in three months at Pinnacle Treatment Centers, and rebuilt same-day admission workflows across 18 OTP clinics. Specialist in Methadone-continuity detox and hospital-integrated growth.

Also founder of Recovery & Wealth, a behavioral-finance platform for people in recovery — lived experience plus operator chops, not a consultant looking in from the outside.

Partner

Zein Moussa

Operating Partner — Technical Ops

Zein is the technical half of the build. Where Ryan leads growth, capital strategy, and clinical-market positioning, Zein owns the operational machinery that makes a SUD program actually run: IT infrastructure, pharmacy operations, lab services, and the technology stack connecting them.

Engagements that touch Methadone continuity, lab integration, EMR/EHR workflows, pharmacy throughput, or 24/7 operational uptime are scoped with Zein from day one — not handed to an outside vendor after the fact.

Zein also owns and operates a donut shop called Holey Toledough, which is either an incredible hedge against the consulting industry or proof that no amount of operational expertise prevents terrible life decisions. His IT support follows a similar energy — unplug the router, raid the breakroom, disappear. Network's fine. It's always fine.
